AR-15 Introduction


Familiarize yourself with the AR-15 platform in this beginner-friendly class. Learn the controls, sling options, and basic shooting drills, building a strong foundation for safe and effective use of this versatile firearm. This session will be capped at 4 students and will be 60- 90 minutes.

Introduction to the AR-15 Equipment List

  • Eye protection (ANSI Z87.1-rated or better)

  • Ear protection (electronic ear muffs recommended)

  • An AR-15 rifle in good working condition

  • At least two magazines (preferably 20 or 30 rounds)

  • A sturdy two-point or single-point sling (adjusted to fit comfortably for transitions)

  • 200 rounds of range-appropriate ammunition

  • A hard or soft case for transporting your unloaded firearm

  • Cleaning kit or basic maintenance tools (optional but recommended in case of malfunctions)

  • Note: Ensure your AR-15 is unloaded and securely stored in a case when attending the session.
