Skill Builder - Shooting Around Barricades
Register Below
This introductory course teaches the fundamentals of working with cover and navigating confined spaces in close-quarters scenarios. Students will learn key concepts such as the fatal funnel, center-fed and corner-fed rooms, and the technique of “pie-ing” a corner. Through both discussion and live-fire application, participants will practice using cover effectively, minimizing exposure, and maximizing angles while engaging targets. The class also addresses the inherent risks of single-person CQB and explains why it is generally discouraged in the home environment. By the end of the session, students will have gained practical experience performing live-fire drills around barricades with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and confidence.
